In this episode we talk about those identities that, over time, stop holding us up. The masks we built in childhood, adolescence or adult life to survive, fit in or please, and that no longer represent us today. We explore how family mandates —conscious and unconscious— shape our character: to please, be perfect, try hard, stay strong, always hurry. Mandates inherited from mothers, grandmothers and family stories that still live inside us.
We also address the impact of the genogram, the importance of naming what stayed in the shadow, and how our mind works like a small inner parliament full of parts that sometimes contradict each other. We talk about vulnerability, repair, demanding motherhood and how to hold ourselves without losing ourselves.
Identities that expire do not disappear: they transform when we shine light on them, when we understand them and when we let the deep self take its place.
This episode is an invitation to recognise which parts of us no longer serve us, which family patterns still live in us and how we can begin to let them go to return, little by little, to our essence.
