Cookie policy
This website uses one technical cookie and, only if you accept them, the Google Analytics statistics cookies. Here we explain which ones, what they are for and how to change your mind.
In short
This website does not use advertising or social media cookies. It uses one technical cookie that remembers your language and, only if you accept them in the banner, the Google Analytics statistics cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics does not load. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings”, at the bottom of every page.
The podcast videos do not load until you press ▶. If you do, YouTube may store data in your browser (we explain this below).
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. It is used, for example, to remember your preferences or to know how you use the website. There are similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage or pixels; in this policy we also call them “cookies”.
Under Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE, article 22.2), technical cookies, which are necessary for the website to work or to provide the service you request, do not need your consent. All others do.
Which cookies this website uses
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
pll_language | This website | Remember the language in which you view the website | 1 year | Technical |
cds_consentimiento | This website | Remember whether you accepted or rejected the statistics cookies (stored in the browser’s local storage) | 12 months | Technical |
_ga | Google (Google Analytics) | Tell visitors apart with a random identifier | 2 years | Statistics, only if you accept it |
_ga_WLYWCZMCJ8 | Google (Google Analytics) | Keep the state of the visit | 2 years | Statistics, only if you accept it |
If you work at the centre and log in to the administration area, WordPress sets the session cookies it needs to identify you (wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-*). People who only visit the website do not receive them.
Third-party services
The website does not embed maps or social media posts, and the typefaces are served from our own server. The links to Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, WhatsApp and Google Maps are plain links: these services do not set cookies until you click and enter their website. From that moment their own cookie policy applies.
Visitor statistics
We count visits in two ways. With Plausible Analytics, a European service that uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and collects no data that identifies you: that is why it does not need your consent. And, only if you accept the statistics cookies, with Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.), which loads through Google Tag Manager and tells us which pages and buttons are used. We do not use it for advertising. More information in the privacy policy.
The first time you interact with the website, we show you a banner with two buttons, “Accept” and “Reject”. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page; if you withdraw your permission, we delete the Google Analytics cookies.
Payment and the first appointment calendar
When you pay for the first appointment, you leave this website for Stripe’s payment page (checkout.stripe.com). There, Stripe sets the cookies it needs for the payment and for fraud prevention, and its cookie policy applies. When you return to “My appointment”, this website sets no cookies.
The calendar (Cal.com) works from our server: your browser does not connect to Cal.com. If your appointment is online and you join the video call, Google Meet’s policy applies.
The podcast’s YouTube videos
On the page of each “Voy a la Psico” episode you first see an image of the video, which is on our server. Until you press ▶, the page does not connect to YouTube.
When you press ▶, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (Google Ireland Ltd.). When you play it, YouTube may store cookies or data in your browser’s storage, and Google’s privacy policy applies. Pressing ▶ is your decision: if you would rather not, you can listen to the episode on Spotify or another platform.
If one day we use other cookies
If we add other cookies that are not technical, before setting them we will update this table and ask for your consent again, with the option to accept or reject them with equal ease.
How to delete or block cookies
You can view, delete or block cookies from your browser settings:
If you block the language cookie, the website works just the same.
