In this episode we talk about self-demand in many women and how, often, it does not come “out of nowhere” but is learned among looks, expectations and social mandates until one day we feel it is our own voice. We explore how it is built from the family model and from experience, and how a very harsh inner part can appear that is activated to survive, to please and to feel loved.
We put words to the mental load, to “seeing the whole 360” at home and in life, and to that superwoman ideal who holds, cares and performs, even when the body is already tired. We also talk about the couple, unspoken pacts, the difficulty of delegating without everything having to meet “our standard”, and how to negotiate and share out more consciously.
We close with an invitation to slow down with more permission, curiosity and compassion, understanding that regulating the nervous system is not unproductive, but the basis for living in a more sustainable way, more connected to what we need.
