For ten years I worked in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona. There I supported adolescents and their families at particularly difficult times, an experience that taught me the importance of understanding distress within its story and of also offering resources to the people around them.
Later I lived for several years in Paris, where I worked in the field of childhood autism and in supporting families.
My interest in the body as an essential part of physical and emotional well-being led me to go deeper into yoga, meditation and mindfulness. For years I also trained yoga teachers in France and Spain.
With motherhood, a new stage appeared in my personal and professional journey. I trained in Human Biography with Laura Gutman, deepening my understanding of the primary bond, early experiences and the way our childhood story can continue to influence identity, motherhood and adult relationships.
My training in Person-Centred Psychotherapy has strengthened a way of supporting based on presence, listening and trust in each person’s resources. It is not about imposing a direction from outside, but about building a space in which you can understand yourself, recognise yourself and connect with your own possibilities for change.
I currently support individual and group processes with adolescents and adults, as well as processes related to motherhood and the history of our bonds.
