We want you to know, before you start, the price of each service and the terms that form part of the support.
At Calma de Ser we offer individual psychotherapy, couples and family therapy, parenting guidance, clinical neuropsychology, educational psychology support and group activities.
Sessions can take place in person in El Masnou or, for the services where it is available, through online therapy.

neuropsychology
Neuropsychological assessment
Assessment sessions cost €74 per hour.
The number of hours needed depends on the person’s age, the reason for the consultation, the areas that need to be explored and the complexity of the assessment.
In many cases with children and adolescents, assessments usually take place on two different days, with two hours per assessment (that is, €296).
Some processes may be shorter, such as certain assessments of cognitive impairment or dementia.
Others may require more sessions, especially when exploring possible neurodivergence, learning difficulties or different hypotheses that could explain the same difficulties. In these cases a differential diagnosis is carried out: the possible explanations are compared, the one that best fits the person’s functioning is assessed, and other causes that can produce similar manifestations are ruled out.
Assessments take place in the morning, when the person is usually more rested, alert and better able to concentrate. This allows us to obtain more reliable results that are representative of their usual functioning.

In the first session the approach and length of the assessment will be explained to you. If it were necessary to extend the number of hours initially planned, we would inform you so that you can know and organise the cost of the process in advance.

- All sessions are paid through our online payment platform.
- Therapy sessions are charged 24 hours before the appointment, in accordance with the cancellation policy set out in the therapeutic contract.
- The assessment session is paid at the time of booking.
rescheduling and cancellation policy
To take care of your process and the organisation of the calendars.
With 24 hours’ notice or more
If you need to change or cancel a session, we ask you to let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
For sessions scheduled on a Monday, we will need to receive notice before the previous Friday in order to reorganise the calendar.
With less than 24 hours’ notice
When a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, it is still charged, as that slot has been reserved especially for you and usually cannot be offered to someone else at such short notice.
We understand that real emergencies or unforeseen events can happen. In these situations, we will assess what happened and, where appropriate, refund the amount.
Refunds
Once processed, the refund usually appears in your account within approximately 48 to 72 hours.
All these terms are explained in detail in the therapeutic contract you will receive when you begin the process.

Do I have to pay for the session when I book?
The assessment session is paid when you book. Therapy sessions are charged automatically 24 hours before the appointment.
Does online therapy cost the same as in-person therapy?
Yes. The price is the same because the length, the preparation and the professional support are the same too.
What happens if I have an emergency and cannot attend?
We understand that real unforeseen events can happen. In these cases, we will assess the situation and, if appropriate, refund the amount.
How will I receive the refund?
It will be made through the same payment system. The amount is usually available in your account again within 48 to 72 hours.
Is coordination with the school or other professionals included?
The first coordination at the start of treatment is included. If further coordination is needed, you will be informed beforehand and the corresponding fee will apply.
How much does a neuropsychological assessment cost?
The price depends on the number of assessment hours needed. To the assessment sessions, at €74 per hour, are added €100 for the preparation of the report and €74 for the feedback session.
How will I know how many assessment hours will be needed?
The professional will explain the plan to you at the start of the process. If during the assessment they consider it necessary to extend the number of hours, they will inform you before continuing.
Does parenting guidance cost the same as an individual session?
Yes. Parenting guidance costs €74 per 50-minute session. When the couple’s relationship is also worked on specifically, the couples or family therapy fee applies.
