I have always been interested in people’s capacity for development and in the possibility of finding new ways to face difficulties.
My first professional experiences were in the field of addictions, supporting adolescents and adults through individual, family and group therapy. Working in a team brought me closer to the foundations of humanistic psychotherapy and to the systemic perspective, understanding that distress cannot be separated from each person’s story, relationships and context.
Since adolescence I have practised different body disciplines. In time I felt the need to build a bridge between psychology and the body, and I trained in Body Gestalt. This perspective allows me to bring body awareness, breathing, movement and meditation into sessions when they can help to understand or regulate what is happening.
Becoming a father also marked an important stage in my journey. For several years I devoted myself fully to parenting and went deeper into conscious parenting, non-violent communication and different educational models. This experience broadened my understanding of childhood, adolescence and family relationships.
I have also created and run expressive and conscious movement groups, bringing together the group experience with body and emotional work.
I currently support adolescents and adults in individual and group processes. My way of working brings together words, the body, the therapeutic relationship and each person’s own resources, respecting the pace and the goals of each process.
