I studied Psychology driven by the desire to understand the human mind, subjectivity and the way each person builds their experience.
During my first years of training I approached Psychoanalysis, drawn by its depth and by its way of understanding personal history, relationships and inner processes. Later I broadened this perspective through Group Analysis, adding a greater understanding of how we are also shaped in relation to the groups and contexts we belong to.
My training in Brief Systemic Therapy gave me a more pragmatic, problem-solving perspective. This combination allows me to adapt the process: at some moments it will be necessary to go deeper into the story and the meanings that have been built; at others, it may be more useful to focus on a specific difficulty and on the changes possible in the present.
I have always been a creative person, and I devote part of my time to the visual arts. I see this side as complementary to my profession and, when it can be useful for the person, I bring in art-therapy or psychodrama resources that allow us to explore and express what does not always find words.
I support adolescents and adults from a perspective that brings together depth, creativity and practical tools, respecting the uniqueness and the goals of each process.
